Evangelist Barachias Irons
The most important event in the life of Barachias Irons took place in June 1968, when she was just eleven years old. It was the year she accepted Jesus as her personal savior and was baptized with the Holy Ghost. She believes that everything else that is written below is a direct result of making a commitment to the Lord as a child.
A third generation member of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc., Evangelist Irons began sharing the word of God at 14 years old, and conducted her first revival that same year. She has been blessed to work at World Headquarters of the Church Of God In Christ for more than thirty years. She was employed in the International Missions Department for more that twenty years. During her tenure with the Missions Department she was afforded the opportunity to carry the good news of Jesus Christ into many different countries. In 2000, a highlight of her ministry came when she received her National Evangelist license from Mother Willie Mae Rivers, International Supervisor of Women.
